If you don’t have someone who can fill the role of Santa there are plenty of services online to help you out. Camera tripods and drones may not be used, though monopods are permitted. Even if you can’t do either of these you can still include holiday greetings and offers on your website, blog or social media. Take full advantage of your greenhouse structures height to include a centerpiece Christmas tree display. One of our customers, Connon Nurseries, displays their Tuincentrum kerstshow by stringing them from the greenhouse trusses. This allows the branches to spread out, and their customers can rotate the tree to view it entirely before buying. Specific gardens (including Mordecai Children’s Garden) are not included as part of the Blossoms of Light pathway and are closed off from entry during the event.
Booking the 5pm timeslot just means that you may have some wait time between seeing the lights and Santa. Booking late time slots can increase the amount of time you spend in line and may reduce your time to see the lights. Santa is located in the back of our gardenhouse, in a temperature controlled, weather protected space.
Many holiday manufacturers exhibit at the main gift shows, and if you are really heavy into Christmas, you may want to consider one of the Christmas shows, such as the New York toy show. We regularly attend shows in New York, Atlanta and Dallas. We recommend braving the cold to see the lights under a fresh layer of snow for a truly magical experience and great photos. Admission does not include any merchandise in our gift shop, a Christmas tree, etc.
Only folks with a light show admission ticket may see Santa, but there are no extra charges to see him or to take a picture with him. We also are a proud provider of fresh-green creations for porches, front doors, and gravesites. These handmade pieces use locally harvested fresh greens and unique decorations made right on site.
